We left the Pettersson-family 9:30. Thank you so much for the nice stay! We were nervous for today’s journey because of the skidding clutch. We could therefore not invite the Pettersson-family for a test ride in the car, but they are very welcome to Dalarna and Furudal to have a ride in the car later.
We have now passed Gävle and stopped at John Tangen in Järbo. He has an odd hobby to extract iron from “red swamp”. We have had some food and looked at the iron bars that he and his wife have done. Producer gas is an essential part of the process to extract the iron and a very large amount of charcoal is used. This is the last stop before we reach our goal – Furudal, where we started three weeks ago.
