Yesterday was really nice. Lars and Erik made supper for us and we talked a lot about wood gas. Erik has built a couple of wood gas cars and showed us his Volvo 164. He’s now going to sell it in advance for a new wood gas project.
We ate breakfast this morning, and then it was time to prepare the system for start. We got 10 sacks of alder wood from Lars, which we loaded on the trailer. Then Lars got a ride in the car and he was really impressed. We said goodbye and went out on the road again. We want to thank for the nice stay at Lars’s place, and al the help we got. We appreciated it very much.
The engine run really well on the dry alder wood and with the newly cleaned fine filter. I had to decrease the pressure on the accelerator to prevent driving too fast.
We have been on the car museum in Hoting and looked on nice cars. One beautiful car was a Renault from 1909. Martin felt for an old Mercedes.
Now we are just north of Vilhelmina and we’re heating food on the spirits.
