Repairing and resting

Werner and his friend Niclas have been helping me with some repairs of the system. We went to Niclas workshop and made a more stable connection between the throttle valve and engine. The leaks have been sealed with a better high temp silicone.

We fired up the system again for Werner and Niclas to have a test ride. Werner let me use one of his sucking fans instead of the weak pressure fan that’s mounted on the car. He immediately saw that there was something wrong with the gas when lighting it. The system was put into under-pressure by using the sucking fan, which dragged air through the leaks into the system. This made the flame look like it was “cut off” in the middle.

There wasn’t really time to do something about it. The car ran better with the gas mixer leaks repaired and Niclas and Werner tried it.

Werner drives trucks for a living and I made him company this night on his nightly run to Eskilstuna with DHL packages.
