Logging-wagon

I was looking for a wire crane to put on the tractor for logging wood fuel. But then instead, I stumbled into a logging-wagon with a crane for a very reasonable price. I drove to Hudiksvall where it was located and had a look and tried it. It all seemed good, so I said I’d buy it and went back home to arrange with a transport.

I borrowed a truck from a guy in the neighbour village and headed out on the road again. Now, this truck was an old Volvo beauty from 1972 and had earlier been used by the road administration. Top speed is 70 km/h and I won’t mention the acceleration.
The muffler broke half way to the pickup destination, creating a terrible noise and diesel smoke in the cabin. I came up to Hudiksvall, loaded the wagon and then survived all the way home, where my friend helped me to unload the wagon with his excavator.
